#6 on Wall Street Journal Bestseller List!
Published January 20th, 2008 by Thom ScottWow, what a week! With the help of our friends and colleagues, we launched our campaign to get the word out about The Go-Giver … and it surpassed our expectations!
On Thursday, The Go-Giver hit #7 on Amazon.com’s ranking of ALL books. Also on Amazon, The Go-Giver was the #1 success book and #1 business book (with the nearest business book back at #25 overall — meaning that we were competing with 23 other non-business books for the top spot).
As if all that weren’t enough … The Go-Giver also debuted on the Wall Street Journal’s bestseller list in the #6 spot.
So, it’s official, The Go-Giver is now officially a “National Bestseller” and my buddies Bob Burg and John David Mann are officially “National Bestselling Authors.” Heady stuff indeed. But the REALLY COOL part is that now that it’s appearing on these bestselling lists, people who aren’t even in our network of friends or friends of friends are hearing about The Go-Giver. With YOUR help, we’ve tossed the rock into the lake and the ripple effect has begun.
Of course, surpassing expectations can also carry with it some challenges… one of which was completely blowing out the server used for streaming the bonus videos for purchasers of The Go-Giver. I’ll give you a little run down on THAT fun little challenge in my next posting. (Note: postings will be more frequent now that we’ve officially launched. Rumor has it, Bob or John will also be posting this week as well.)
But, for now, I just wanted to give you the good news and say “THANK YOU” for helping The Go-Giver make a successful debut. This solid foundation that our new “Go-Giver community” (that’s you) helped us build, will make it much easier to get the message of The Go-Giver out into the world so that we can truly change the way millions of people do business and forever improve the quality of their lives!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am happy for the entire Go-Giver team . . . to become a bestseller after only being out for less than a month . . . WOW!
On the other hand, it just proves the concept of the book. When you give; most of all when you give from the heart, you receive . . .
I know there are still several people I want to give the book to and, hopefully, they in turn will grasp the message of the story and give a copy to their family and friends . . . and from there, the ripple increases . . .
