As we mentioned a few days ago, Bob and I recently had the honor of getting to honor a true Pindar, the very first recipient of our Go-Giver Lifetime Achievement Award.
(What we did not mention was in the course of giving the award, our own Mister Burg did a highly credible Mister Ziglar impression that brought down the house, and got a big smile from The Man himself.)
Here is the auspicious event itself, as captured on YouTube.
I always love hearing Bob Burg imitate Zig Ziglar. He has Zig nailed, for sure! I was so excited when I learned Mr. Ziglar himself was coming to the Extreme Business Makeovers event in Orlando in April 2010. What a thrill and honor to meet the man who has inspired me through the years and inspired and motivated so many others.
The biggest thrill of all was to hear Bob Burg do his imitation of Zig FOR Zig … Priceless! Watch it for yourself and see what I mean. Congratulations to Zig Ziglar on being the first recipient of the Go-Giver Lifetime Achievement Award. Can’t wait for the release of Zig’s wife, the Redhead’s book to be available in the coming months!
Peg, thank you. Your words mean a lot to me. I can imitate his voice only because I’ve listened to it so many times throughout the years. His sage teaching has left an indelible impression on me, and in an extremely positive way. Mr. Ziglar and his entire family can be very accurately described as a blessing to everyone whose lives they touch. Definitely mine.

The world lost a great man this year…we will always miss him – Zig Ziglar.
