We have become aware that Apple does not allow their iPads® to be used in third party promotions or contests (Guidelines for Third Party Promotions). Several friends emailed us an article stating that giving away a free iPad 2 as a prize is contrary to Apple’s policy.

Regardless of whether we agree or disagree with their policy and/or strategy, we absolutely respect intellectual property rights, copyrights and trademarks. So, we changed the Grand Prize from an iPad 2 ($829 value) to a $1,000 cash prize.

• Record a video with your story of how one or more of the 5 Laws of Stratospheric Success has helped your business.
• Videos can be up to five minutes, but not over that amount. Our suggestion (in terms of garnering votes) is that it be around three minutes in length.
• Feel free to record the video with your iPhone, Flipcam, in front of your computer, or whatever way you’d like. The contest is about YOU and your story rather than highly produced video.
• Upload your video to YouTube.com and tag your video with “The Go-Giver”, “Bob Burg” and “John David Mann”
• Click the green Enter the Contest button and submit your entry with the YouTube.com URL for your video
• All entries must be made between May 24 – June 15th (by midnight).
• Only one (1) entry per person will be counted towards the prizes.
• The Top Ten videos will be selected and posted on this website on Monday, June 20th. Voting on the Top Ten videos will be from June 20th – July 1st.
• The six videos with the most votes will be the winners. We’ll announce the Grand Prize winner and the 5 Runners-up on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.*
